Natural, Relaxing, Effective

Reflexology - Natural and Effective

Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears and their referral areas within zone related areas, which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body.

Through application of pressure on these reflexes without the use of tools, creams or lotions, the feet being the primary area of application, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the related areas of the body

Individually Tailored Treatments

Questionnaire and foot inspection

You fill out a questionnaire about your medical history and general health. Then, swathed in a blanket, you lean back in the padded recliner while Margaret inspects your feet. She takes notice of the placement of calluses, lines, and puffiness as clues to your health.

A gentle form of reflexology

Using the pads of her fingers in soothing motions, Margaret’s hands seek imbalance in your reflex areas.

You’re a partner in your own treatments

Throughout the treatments, Margaret asks questions and encourages a dialogue about how you feel. She adjusts the pressure of her fingers to match your sensitivity.

No rush to leave

A relaxing foot massage with vanilla scented lotion ends your session. With a re-hydrating drink of water in your hand, you discuss your sensations with Margaret. She talks about what you can expect in the aftermath and whether a second treatment is needed.

Technique for you to try at home

Margaret shows you a gentle technique, using finger pressure on the back of your calf, to relieve a tension headache.
